Answers for shoppers reading reviews and for businesses managing their profile.
For consumers
How do I write a review?
Search for the business, open its profile, and click "Write a review." You'll need a ReviewLyft account with a verified email address before your review publishes.
Why does my review say "pending review"?
Reviews from brand-new accounts, or reviews our system flags as possible duplicates, are held for a human moderator before they go live. This is one of the ways we keep reviews trustworthy — see our Trust & Transparency page.
Can I edit or delete my review?
Yes. Open the review from your dashboard and choose edit or delete at any time — you're always in control of what you've written.
I think a review is fake. What can I do?
Click "Flag" on the review. It'll be sent straight to our moderation team for a human decision — flagged reviews are never auto-removed.
Can't find a business?
You can add it yourself in under a minute, or browse existing listings by category.
For businesses
How do I claim my business profile?
Sign up or sign in, open your business's profile page, and click "Claim this business." Our team reviews claims to confirm you're the owner or an authorized representative.
Can I respond to a review?
Yes — once your profile is claimed, you can post a public reply underneath any review from your business dashboard.
Can I remove a negative review?
We don't remove reviews just because they're negative. If a review breaks our guidelines — it's fake, off-topic, or abusive — you can flag it for our moderation team to review.
Does listing my business cost anything?
No — adding your business, claiming your profile, and responding to reviews are all free. Learn more on our for businesses page.
